“…. the act of painting…places me in the moment, humbling, fascinating…producing a visual field that lives as itself on it’s own, alive…creating a microcosm, cacophony, microscopic, telescopic, figurative, textures, languages, musical notes, rhythms, bodily landscapes, organs… paint as a spiritual emotional conduit connecting one to all those who’ve entered the creative process, to ancestors and descendants….expanding/contracting, you see something new each time you look, like threads of light that connect the stars in the night sky….a painting conjures up divine spirits….or a painting becomes into divine being….A painting holds the eyes’ breath….a painting is what we see when our eyes breathe….a nonsensical landscape…a figure, that becomes a letter, then into celestial dust….”
